The Nintendo Switch has had a dominant life as a hybrid console-handheld, enjoying success since its launch in 2017. However, late last year heard some rumblings that Nintendo was preparing to move onward to a successor to the Nintendo Switch. According to Video Games Chronicle, Eurogamer, and other insider sources, development kits for a "Switch 2" had already been sent out to third-party devs, and rumors were claiming that the system would launch sometime in 2024. News  "Official Xbox Podcast" is now live, 4 games coming to other consoles, Activision games on Game Pass, and more

Xbox has just uploaded their Official Xbox Podcast regarding Xbox and their business going forward in the industry, with the podcast lasting for around 22 minutes, and while the podcast isn't that long, it does cover quite a bunch of things regarding exclusivities, Game Pass and other things. News  'The Thaumaturge' launch delayed to next month

The Thaumaturge is an upcoming isometric RPG from developer Fool's Theory and publisher 11 bit studios. After an initial delay last year, the game was set to launch later this month. However, the developer and publisher have today announced that their game will launch at a later date, in March. While the game is complete, the decision to push back the release was due to February's busy launch period. The extra time will be used to further polish the game. News  "Official Xbox Podcast" to stream on February 15th, 2024

Xbox has announced on their official social media accounts the date for their upcoming "Official Xbox Podcast", which was mentioned last week to be scheduled for this week, with rumours running rampant about Xbox's upcoming business changes. The podcast will stream on February 15th, 2024 at 12PM PT / 3PM ET and 8PM GMT, and will feature Phil Spencer, Sarah Bond and Matt Booty talking about updated and changes in regards to Xbox business decisions going forward.

News  Romhacks and fan translations website CDRomance takes all downloads off-site after a DMCA threat

One of the most popular websites in regard to romhacks, fan translations and other kinds of pre-patched modifications to retro titles has always been CDRomance. Chances are if you were looking for a specific mod or hack for a certain title, most likely you'd find it there in an already patched form. However, as of this past weekend, the way in which CDRomance operates has changed.
