The obscure 1993 Konami beat 'em up game "Metamorphic Force" is being released this week as part of the Arcade Archives series on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The game follows four young men who have been bestowed with the ability to morph into anthropomorphic beasts to help them defeat an evil lord.
Metamorphic Force is being released in Japan on October 24, 2024 and is expected to hit western storefronts shortly after. This release marks the 400th consecutive weekly Arcade Archives release on the Nintendo eShop since the series began in 2017. Despite being one of Konami's lesser-known beat 'em ups, this new re-release should give players a chance to discover and experience this unique and overlooked title.
