The former president of Puyo Puyo creator Compile, Masamitsu "Moo" Niitani, is currently developing a "groundbreaking" new puzzle game for Nintendo Switch and PC through his indie studio COMPILE〇.
According to the information found, COMPILE〇 is actively recruiting playtesters to provide feedback on the game, which is being developed for release on Switch and PC. The studio previously released a falling-block puzzle game called Nyoki Nyoki on the 3DS eShop in 2016, but was unable to crowdfund a Switch version due to lack of interest at the time. However, with the recent closure of the 3DS eShop, there has been renewed interest in Nyoki Nyoki, which seems to have encouraged COMPILE〇 to work on this new, unrelated puzzle title.
The details on this new puzzle game are still limited, but it's described as a "groundbreaking" falling-block puzzle game that COMPILE〇 is hoping to get player feedback on during the current playtesting phase. The studio is looking for volunteers to test the game at their office in Chiba, Japan from 1pm to 7pm.
