Link to the Past is rightly considered a 16-bit classic and offers hours of engrossing entertainment and tantalizing challenge. Not many games from decades ago still feel as fresh and tightly constructed as this; it represents Nintendo at its very best.
Nostalgia will play a huge part in influencing a purchasing decision with Legacy of Kain Collection; if you were a fan of either game back in the '90s, then you'll almost certainly want to revisit them in this new double pack.
Chaos Engine 2 alone is arguably worth the cost of entry, especially if you're able to rope in a second player – it's a game that is capable of destroying friendships and has long deserved a second chance at broader acclaim.
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is a game I've genuinely enjoyed coming back to all these years later. While I can appreciate some of its shortcomings with age, it's still a game I can recommend checking out.
Your enjoyment of TimeSplitters 2 will largely depend on if you played the game when it originally released. There is precious little about the experience that holds a flame to contemporary shooters, save for maybe the sheer breadth of content.
