We feel like we’ve only scratched the surface with Ara: History Untold even after thousands of turns and multiple games, but this is a fun take on this type of experience and a great choice if you’re looking for an engaging PC game to pull you in.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a welcome return for one of Mickey’s most memorable adventures, this is just about everything one could’ve wanted out of a revisit to a lost classic.

It would be one thing if Reynatis was a decent enough action RPG to turn your brain off to and enjoy some simplistic, button-mashy battles with.

For those who enjoy the Karate Kid movies and Cobra Kai TV series, there’s fun to be had with this. It’s simple but fairly effective, looks really nice, and has a few minigames to break up the action.

Given that the project at hand is to purify a mega-corp-abused ocean, it’s quite a downer that the game feels so unwinnable – but maybe that’s the point, in a melancholy kind of way.

Rocket Panda reminds us a lot of the first James Pond game, which is no bad thing, and its visuals and audio are pleasing rather than dazzling.

Episode Aigis is one for the super fans. Its worthwhile story beats are rare and buried beneath a lot of all-too-familiar dungeon crawling, and it's undeniably expensive in terms of asking price.

The Plucky Squire is a delightful kids adventure with a fun and unique core mechanic that's been realized incredibly well.

The inconsistent NSFW-ness often detracts from the series' comedy value, and it's a shame there aren't more games to dive into, but those looking to heat up a grown-up game night will still find some good laughs to be had here.

A substantial visual overhaul of Dead Rising is what will immediately stand out most, but where the Deluxe Remaster truly thrives is in all its gameplay touch-ups to make the classic play and feel like any other modern game.

One of the best games of the last generation of consoles, and in with a very strong shout as the greatest JRPG of all time, Persona 5 Royal makes for a fantastic new addition to Xbox Game Pass.

If you've yet to sample the deep delights of Persona 4, we really can't recommend it enough - it's perhaps our favorite entry in the franchise, doing so much that Persona 5 does but without that game's sometimes unnecessary bloat.

Baldur's Gate 3 is the new reigning RPG monarch, demanding your homage with its insane level of depth and detail. Even if its gameplay might move too slowly for some, it's hard not to be astounded by the sheer scope of this adventure.

Train Sim World 5 shunts the series forward with a number of smaller improvements. While the base package feels a bit unnecessary, it’s effectively a free client upgrade for existing expansion owners, and therefore worth your time.

At the end of the day, we’re left asking, ‘Who is this for?’ Children don’t care about Battlestar Galactica and The Thing, and adults won’t love the boring, simplistic gameplay loop.
