Those who are big fans of the American TV show "Pawn Stars" will likely have come across a segment featuring Halo: Combat Evolved in the most recent episode, in which an owner believes they possess a copy worth $13,000.
What follows is a bizarre explanation of the game by host Chumlee (who has seemingly doesn't know it very well despite suggesting otherwise), after which he advises he'll need someone to take a further look and verify its legitimacy.
The conclusion is that, unfortunately, the game appears to have been re-sealed at some point in its existence, and therefore isn't an original sealed copy from back in 2001. It's claimed that it could have been worth up to (or over!) $25,000 depending on its condition, but its re-sealed status means its only worth around $25 at best. Bummer!
Anyway, it's an interesting little video that's been going viral over the past couple of days, even if it does appear very staged to us. We're assuming the deals are real... but whatever we're seeing on camera here feels very awkward!
