Forever Skies, a PS5-only survival game, has released a free demo on the PlayStation Store.
The 10.5 GB sample lets you try out the upcoming sci-fi adventure, set to launch in early 2025. You'll explore a devastated Earth, managing your survival from an airship base floating above the planet. You'll need to descend to the surface to collect vital resources, gradually improving your base and gear.
This "specially crafted vertical slice" demo offers "1.5 – 2.5 hours" of gameplay. Starting on the planet's surface, you'll gather materials and use tools to survive and prepare your airship for takeoff. The demo includes guided objectives and areas to explore. After finishing the main story content, you can tackle extra tasks in the open world.
Players who complete all objectives in the Forever Skies demo will unlock a PS5-exclusive airship skin. This reward will transfer to the full game upon release, provided you keep your demo save data.
