With a few upgrades, the Drone can be turned into a gun that gives Eve various firing options in combat. The gun fires multiple kinds of ammo and will require Stellar Blade players to restock on ammo while also upgrading the gun to unlock different firing methods.
How To Unlock The Gun In Stellar Blade
Players will get the gun as part of the main story, with it not being missable. The first section of the game will have Eve and Adam hunting down the Alpha Naytiba. After finding and defeating this boss, players will be introduced to Lily, who will join the team as the three travel to the city of Xion.
After reaching Xion, meeting the Orcal, and powering up the city, players can return to Lily by the safe house to get the upgraded drone that also acts as the gun.
How To Use & Upgrade The Gun In Stellar Blade
To use the gun, simply hold down L2 to have the drone quickly mount on Eve's arm. When the reticle appears on the screen, press R2 to fire your selected ammo type. While aiming, in the bottom left of the screen will be the ammo count for the selected ammo, and pressing down on the D-Pad opens up the ammo wheel.
When first obtained, the gun will only fire slugs, but using any Repair Console allows players to upgrade the drone using Drone Upgrade Modules. There are multiple upgrades to choose from with the drone, but the majority will offer new ammo types to use along with further boosting your existing ones.
How To Get Ammo For The Gun In Stellar Blade
There are multiple ammo types to choose from for the gun in Stellar Blade, all of which will need to be refilled after being used. This will require players to travel to a vending machine at any camp and purchase them using Gold. Ammo can also be found through random drops, but this is less reliable. Some of the more story-oriented areas will also have ammo resupply stations, but these are also much rarer than vending machines.
There is a carrying capacity for each ammo type, and each bullet doesn't cost too much, so it's usually safe to always completely refill your bullets whenever stopping to rest at camp.
