The game is set in a far-off mining town. You'll play as a sheriff trying to crack a case that could shake up the town. Former workers from CD Projekt RED and 11 Bit Studios are helping make it.
CEO and founder Jan Barkowicz said:
"Neowiz really got our vision. They loved our first game as soon as we showed them. In our talks, they never tried to change our ideas, but helped us stay true to them. We both know games can mean a lot to people, making them both important art and good business."
Neowiz's Seung-Cheol Kim added:
"When we met Zakazane, we clicked right away over their drive to make games that really grab people. Their upcoming neo-western RPG will be a big part of our lineup and shows we want to build lasting series for PC and consoles. Together, we'll make a brand that mixes quality and storytelling for gamers to enjoy for years."
Of course, it's still very early, with just one piece of art shared so far. But the idea sounds great, and we can't wait to see how it grows over time. This is definitely one to watch.
