If, like this author, you grew up on a diet of Harry Potter books and the Quidditch World Cup game on PS2, you'll want to make sure you have Quidditch Champions' fast-approaching 3rd September release date marked on your calendar. The game – which will be free to download with PS Plus Essential – has just snagged a gameplay trailer, and it looks good!
First and foremost, for those who treat online multiplayer like He Who Must Not Be Named, there'll be a full single player campaign for those who want to play against the computer. This will see you competing to win the Quidditch World Cup across a variety of arenas, and you'll be able to play as iconic characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Draco Malfoy – or create your own.
Online multiplayer will of course also be available, but Warner Bros notes in the press release there are "no plans for microtransactions at this time". Refreshing news for those of you who aren't fans of live services, we suppose.
