The 2024 Pokémon World Championships are taking place in Honolulu, Hawaii this weekend, with trainers from across the globe battling each other in Scarlet and Violet, the Trading Card Game, Pokémon GO and Pokémon Unite.
There are all sorts of announcements and distribution events taking place, so here's the full rundown of everything, including the schedule for the whole weekend which includes some special news during the closing ceremonies:

Pokémon Scarlet And Violet - Distribution Event
As part of this, a special distribution event is currently underway in Scarlet and Violet, where you can receive a special Sylveon based on the one used by Tomoya Ogawa - the winner of last year's World Championships. The code you'll need is SLEEPTALKW0RLDS and you have until 19th August 2024 to redeem it (thanks, Serebii.net).
Pokémon Masters EX - 5th Anniversary
A new main story arc begins - new information about the five-year anniversary will be revealed on 24th August 2024. The run up to this celebration includes a number of in-game events.
Pokémon Unite - New Battle Mode (Coming Spring 2025)
Pokémon Unite will be getting a new battle mode, where it's the first to 500 points. Players can see team scores, there's no time limit, Zapdos is back and Remoat Stadium returns. Keep in mind this is all subject to change, as it's still in development. You can catch the trailer at the 10:32:00 mark during Day 1 of the Unite tournament.
Digital Rewards (Pokémon GO, TCGL, Unite, Twitch Drops)
The broadcast is offering up some digital rewards including codes for "a special illustration rare Pokémon card in Pokémon Trading Card Game Live". Here's what's been shared so far:And Lots More!
