Little Nightmares III has been delayed to 2025. Originally slated for release in 2024, the game's developer, Supermassive Games, and publisher, Bandai Namco Europe, made the decision to push the launch back to focus on quality.
This highly anticipated sequel introduces some new elements to the series:
1. Co-op gameplay: Players can take on the roles of Low and Alone, two characters trapped in a place called Nowhere.
2. New setting: The game features a disturbing candy factory and an entity known as The Supervisor.
3. Expanded narrative: The story revolves around the protagonists trying to escape "The Spiral," filled with various terrors.
While the exact release date in 2025 hasn't been announced, fans of the series can look forward to another atmospheric horror-platforming experience when it arrives on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
