The latest Astro Bot game update, which released on October 17, 2024, includes the following new content:
- A new speedrun level called "Building Speed" where players can blast through a sky-high city, dodging cranes, smashing crates, and speeding through a car wash to rescue stranded crew members. This is the first of 5 new speedrun levels that will be released weekly.
- Each new speedrun level also includes 2 new "Special Bots" for players to rescue, adding up to 10 new Special Bots in total.
- The update is free for all Astro Bot players and the new levels and bots can be accessed after completing the main game.
- In addition to the speedrun levels, the developers at Team Asobi have hinted that there may be even more surprises coming soon for Astro Bot players.
So in summary, Astro Bot players now have access to new challenging speedrun content as well as more characters to discover and rescue, all for free as part of the game's post-launch support.
