Yoshi's Island DS, known in Japan as Yoshi Island DS, is a 2006 platform game developed by Artoon.

In this new platforming adventure, you will explore the vibrant wilderness of Yoshi's Island. A weird island that seems to be hovering above the tranquil Yoshi's Island has unexpectedly materialized. A large group of island school students disappeared shortly after the ship's arrival. We have reason to give thanks because Baby Mario, Baby Peach, and Baby Donkey Kong all manage to evade capture. Now, Yoshi and the three young superstars have no choice but to embark on an exciting and eventful journey to rescue the children and examine the mysterious island floating over them.
