A Difficulty + Improvement hack of Pokemon Red version. If you're looking for another "Blue Kaizo" sort of experience, then this ROMhack should suit your needs. However, this ROMhack does distinguish itself and should still be approached a bit differently.
Features:
-Revised maps.
-Pokemon learnset improvements.
-Many moves have been rebalanced, especially the moves which were considered useless (i.e. by move effect, power, and/or accuracy).
-Level cap that is based on your number of badges.
-Additional Pokemon that were primarily selected from Gen II (so Nuzlockers should never run out of catches like in vanilla Gen I).
-Trade evolutions evolve by stones.
-Revamped map layouts.
-Significantly increased difficulty for trainer teams, trainer movesets, and trainer A.I.
-Slight tweaks to a few type matchups (i.e. Psychic vs Ghost, Psychic vs Bug, Fire vs Ice). Poison and Bug remain super-effective against each other like in vanilla Gen I.
-Fixes to most of the moves in Gen I (e.g. Focus Energy, Substitute). Hyper Beam will still not require a recharge if it causes a Pokemon to faint.
